MY FIESTA MOVEMENT: Summer of the Taurus

MY FIESTA MOVEMENT: Summer of the Taurus

Summer of the Taurus

In between my mission videos, I found time to stop in an do a unannounced photo opt with the 2010 Ford Taurus. I've been waiting to see the 2010 Taurus for sometime and it looks better in person. I admittedly felt the difference between the Fiesta once I sat inside. Not that they should be compared, but I've been driving a compact around for almost 6 months, so when I sat in the Taurus it felt as if I was navigating Air force-1. Everything I needed was in reaching distance, I didn't have to reach far to manage the center dash and the center console was the perfect combination of leather, wood, and chrome accents.

But the funnest part of the photo opt was letting the hotel parking attendants check out the Fiesta. They popped the hood, checked out the inside and even took it for a test drive. They were impressed. I was happy to share the Fiesta with a few teenagers and the public.

Mission 3:Get tattoo'd

This mission was crazy cool. I had to step out of my norm, to support my wife who was supportting me. We've been married for 9 wonderful years, and I have constantly shot down the idea of her getting a tattoo. I've always thought of them as a waste of resources, with little to no meaning.

However, being that it was the third mission and the theme of the month "Style and Design", I felt compassionate to allow her to pick the mission, knowing how she feels about fashion, make-up, etc. What I did not expect was for her to chose the mission Get Tattoo'd. Well she did, I wasn't standing over her shoulder while she pick the mission nor was I giving her advice. This was her time and her moment, to show the world just how much she felt about the world of fashion, style, etc.

Granted it's, 4AM in the morning and I woke her up from her beauty sleep to choose the mission. She might have chosen the mission in spite of me, for many years I argued her down for getting a tattoo. Whatever her reason, it has been a success. It's taught me people are not as judgemental as one might think. And if they are, then maybe one should examine the purpose of those who judge, rather then giveing sound advice.
